Overview:
This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of patients, employees, and visitors, as well as the assets of the organization.
This position reports to the Security Supervisor and/or VP Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
1.
Secures the premises by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points.
2.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and restraining trespassers.
3.
Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security related situations.
4.
Provides needed assistance to patients, employees, and visitors following department procedures.
5.
Immediately responds to emergencies to secure the area and provide necessary assistance.
6.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1.
Education:
a.
) High School Diploma/GED required.
b.
) Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
2.
Licensure/Certification:
a.
) Must be able to pass certification course in firearms within 3 months of hire.
b.
) Attend, complete and/or certify on training required by the BRHC Security Supervisor or BRHC Leadership.
c.
) BLS required.
d.
) Active/current driver's license3.

Experience:
a.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
