The Human Resources Manager aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HR Manager serves as a consultant to management and employees on Human Resource related issues, and formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HR Manager responsibilities may include regional Human Resource responsibilities.
Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Provides day to day performance management guidance to management including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary matters.
Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, through and objective investigations.
Maintains in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee relations, and regulatory compliance. Partners with legal department as needed/required.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, within the designated business units.
Oversees the onboarding and orientation with all newly hired or transferred employees within the designated business units.
Responsible for input and management of all information into the HRIS systems within their scope of responsibility.
Conducts required training and information sessions with the employees as it relates to policies/procedures, benefits, compliance and other areas as needed
Establishes and maintains all departmental records and reporting.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
A BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited college/university.
3-5 years experience in a Human Resources management role.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related field from an accredited
Demonstrated experience with compliance, employee relations, employment laws and labor markets.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing policies and procedures.
Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficient with compensation and benefit related HRIS platforms as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills.
Excellent English language skills.
Ability and willingness to travel regionally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
